To change your VPS password, follow these steps:

 

Windows

  1. Open CMD
  2. Type net user administrator * and press enter
  3. Enter a new password then press enter (it will not show that you are typing)
  4. Repeat the same password then press enter

 

Linux

  1. SSH into the VPS
  2. Type passwd and hit enter
  3. follow the steps from the command line.
